A proverb?
"In April, don't take off a single thread, in May, do what you like." It's classic but so true. For now, even in Vegas where I live, it's still a bit chilly under the blue sky, no question of getting out the shorts first thing in the morning. And I keep a jacket or a little sweater on my shoulders.
Beauty question, what do you do for your skin?
I put aside my ultra-rich creams and use creams with lighter textures. Personally, at the moment I am using the Verbena & Lemon range from Mademoiselle Provence. The exfoliating - energizing scrub is perfect to help me remove the dead skin accumulated during the winter and the verbena lemon milk has a super fresh, sparkling scent, which is perfect at the moment.
A recipe to share for spring?
I love making big mixed salads. I put a little bit of everything and anything, depending on what I have on hand. But my little trick is the "dressing" (the seasoning). I add a teaspoon of honey and a little lemon juice to the olive oil. I love this little sweet/tangy note ;) and I add as a final touch some cranberries, cashew nuts, pistachios, always depending on what I have on hand.
